Last week I had the pleasure of attending a lovely Banquet at the South London Gallery hosted by the Art Assassins. This is a group of young artist that meet once a week in south London and this year they put together a great exhibition of their views of the London Riots that occurred this summer.
It was an evening of art, intellectual discussion and good food. I had the pleasure of sitting across from Alison Rooke and Hannah Jones, two lecturers at Goldsmith University.
Well done to all the organiser especially Ashley Whitfield, who extended my invitation. I'm sure all will agree that it was executed to a high standard and I was thoroughly impressed.
