Over the summer, Zahra and Zinah use their time not only to relax from a vigorous year at Uni but also to develop their skills and explore the world of fashion and textiles.
There are many places and hidden gems around london where people can take short courses, meet like mined individuals and also express their creativity.
One of these places is the Fashion and Textiles Museum situated behind London Bridge in the heart of the fashionable Bermondsey Village. Zahra attended a four week Photoshop for designers course and gave it a big thumbs up!
The Fashion and Textile Museum is a cutting edge centre for contemporary fashion, textiles and jewellery in London. Founded by iconic British designer Zandra Rhodes, the centre showcases a programme of changing exhibitions exploring elements of fashion, textile and jewellery as well as the Academy which runs courses for creative students and businesses, and the fabulous The Café @ FTM
