It's great to be able to share my travel adventures with you. This week I will finally be sharing my long weekend in Hamburg, Germany.
It was an absolutely amazing three days!!! Most of my friends gave me a strange look when I said I was going to Germany for the weekend, and Hamburg at that. I actually went to attend the Walimah (Wedding Celebration) of a dear friend.
Within that one trip I travelled across continents. Attending a wedding is a great way of experiencing a new culture. By the end I was in love with Turkish tea...something that hasn't left me, their dress sense and tailoring and most of all their hospitality. Our hosts were from Morocco and honestly, as soon as we stepped through the doors I was transported to another world. Such great hosts, I love them to bits.... Shout out to Rukeya and Atika.
All of Kubra's friends were great! They took the time out to show us around and entertain us. Genuinely fantastic characters, the trip would not have been the same with out them.
